Description |
Appeal film made in aid of the King George's fund for Sailors. Looks at the work of the fund - the Seamen's Mission providing food, shelter and clothing for sailors onshore and the Royal Liverpool Seaman's Orphanage with the children playing in the grounds. There's a look at the training ship, Indefatigable, which teaches boys seamanship, and at the Homes for Aged Mariners. The film ends with an appeal for funds. |
