Description |
Film of an exercise for nuclear disaster in Preston. After being set to work by the Mayor, various aspects of the military / civil defence response to an explosion of a nuclear bomb in Euxton near Chorley are enacted. These include rescuing the injured, transferring them by train to makeshift hospital and searching houses. Afterwards, the participants are seen having their lunch. |
