Description

Parades of service personnel featuring civic dignitaries, youth groups, civilians and war veterans through the streets of Burnley. There is footage of marching policemen, members of the Auxiliary Fire Service and sea cadets. The mayor and town clerk lead a line of men and women in civilian dress. A procession moves up Todmorden Road before the film ends with soldiers, veterans and sea cadets arriving at St. Peter's Church.
