A man training his Labrador dog in the garden then three men attempt to raise a tractor's back wheels from a ditch on the farm. Show jumping scenes with a large crowd watching possibly a county show followed by a wooden bridge over a river and a couple returning with their dog from a fishing trip. A man folding a wheelchair into the boot of a car then later inflating the car's tyres with a hand pump. A shooting party gather in front of a large house before driving off to the shoot. Later the results of the shoot and fishing trip are laid out on the lawn. The ruins of Melrose Abbey are explored by two women and views of the Forth Bridge from a ferry. A woman leads a horse followed by a man overlooking Loch Ness then a couple walk their dog down a country lane. On the farm we see tractors, a young woman leading a horse and cats with kittens. In the garden of a large house a Labrador retrieves a newspaper from the front gate then plays with another dog, chasing a ball. The film ends back on the farm with a tractor transporting bales of hay.
