Description |
A girls' dance troupe leads the festival parade followed by a marching brass band, tractors pulling floats and people in fancy dress collecting money for charity. The Rose Queens pass in vintage convertible cars and a woman on horseback leads the parade onto the showground before the coronation of the Rose Queens begins. The children's fancy dress prize giving by the Rose Queen is followed by the decorated bicycles competition, Morris dancing and scenes from inside a marquee. |
