Description

Student documentary in which three women remember their wartime experiences, with their interviews illustrated with archive footage and embellished by songs and music of the era. Barbara Kemp recalls her time in the Women's Land Army and Marion Grimshaw remembers her work as a railway porter, munitions factory worker and bus conductor. Dorothy Hirst talks about joining the Women's Junior Air Corps and meeting her future husband at the local dance.
