Description |
Mayoral events during the office of three different mayors of Bury; Councillor John Lord (1968-70), and his successors, Councillor Cockayne and Councillor Jackson. The Mayor Making ceremony and Mayoral Sunday processions are seen for each. Councillor Lord is also seen opening a sports festival at Clarence Park, opening Chesham School and attending the Armisitce Day ceremony and a whit walk. Councillor Jackson is also seen attending both the Catholic and Church of England's whit walk processions. |
