The interchange of lock gates at the Queen Elizabeth II oil dock, Eastham on the Manchester Ship Canal - gates nos.1 and 2 are moved across the lock by hand winch and tugboat. Construction site - pipes are lowered into the ground by crane; water spurts out of an open pipe. |
