Description |
A documentary record of the work and workers involved in the construction of the Killington to Tebay stretch of the M6 motorway passing through the Lune Valley. The film combines scenes from modern road building techniques with historical and geological information on the area, and also includes workers' leisure activities and the housing and school provision made for their families. We finally see aerial views of the completed motorway section and traffic in the wider landscape setting. |
