Description

Glengarry topical newsreel includes items on the Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition held in London in 1932 and the maiden voyage of a White Star Liner -'Georgie'- which set sail from Liverpool on June 25th 1932. The Mayor of Liverpool, Alderman J C Cross and Captain Summers are seen posing with other passengers on board the ship's deck as they have their photographs taken. The film also includes footage of London's New Victoria Coach Station.
