Description |
An old man sat on a park bench lighting his pipe and reminiscing about his retirement as a lollipop man. As he walks into town he passes the local coal mine where he used to work and the river he fished as a boy. In the park he sees children playing on the slide and a large crowd listening and dancing to music from the bandstand. Later he just sits and watches as the people rush through the streets of Burnley before getting up and going home. |
