Description |
The funeral of the late Col. T.B. Wolstenholme in Urmston on the 20th January 1934. A horse-drawn carriage carries the coffin through the streets. The rest of the military cortège, including the Colonel's horse, walk slowly behind the coffin. The streets are lined with people standing with their heads bowed as a mark of respect. |
