Description |
Scenes at the Lytham Motive Power Museum, an air show at Blackpool and a street parade for Blackpool's Centenary. Opens with views of steam engines, planes, (including Guy Gibson's Lancaster bomber) and other artefacts at the Lytham museum. The Red Arrows take part in an air show at Squires Gate airfield where other planes are also on display. Finally there is a children's carnival in Blackpool featuring a fancy dress competition judged by Miss World, carnival floats and fleeting appearances by Charlie Cairoli and Tom Baker as Dr Who. |
