Description |
Scenes from the royal visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Colne in 1913. The crowds cheer and wave as the royal car approaches. The royal couple make their way to the podium where they are greeted by civic dignitaries. The Royal couple return to their car and are driven past the cheering crowds. The civic dignitaries also depart and soon the crowds of people start to disperse. The film ends with shots filmed from a moving tram of the crowds as well as boy scouts marching along the street. |
