An extract from a telerecording relating to the new production process in the manufacturing of steel in Cumbria. Dr John Pearson is interviewed about his new invention of the Bisra Spraysteel process, with the aid of both graphics and film we see each stage of the process from iron ore to steel ingots. In a separate item Carol Binstead talks about the new Oxfam celebrity cookbook with recipes by Claire Bloom, Sir Stanley Mathews, Mrs Harold Wilson and Norman Wisdom. |
