Description |
Scenes from a 1933 cycle race in Heswall are followed by views of Liverpool Airport in 1937 and of a snow-covered Bromborough. The 100 Mile Car Race on Southport Sands is seen, as well as Irvine MacDonald's 21st birthday party and people ice-skating in Heswall. A crowd gathers outside Liverpool Cathedral in 1938, and there are scenes from MacDonald family holidays in Cornwall and the Conwy Valley. Irvine playing in a rugby match in Hoylake concludes. |
