Description

Nicola sat on Mr Shaw's knee reading a book as elderly relatives sit on a sofa watching. At the Failsworth Community Centre a concert is held with a poetry recital by an elderly gentleman followed by singing and dancing. Underexposed shots of a mother and baby followed by Mrs Shaw and a little girl feeding the ducks in Heaton Park. Nicola and the Shaw family with a new born baby then Nicola eating ice creams and in the paddling pool and playground in Heaton Park. Nicola in the garden playing in a paddling pool then the baby with its parents and laughing in a chair. The film ends with a christening in a church and the party afterwards with all the family in attendance.
