Description

Student documentary looking at the Chinese Sunday School held at Shena Simon College for the teaching of Cantonese to children from Manchester's Chinese community. Includes scenes of Chinese New Year celebrations and views of the different age groups learning Cantonese. The school's headmaster, Steve Tang, stresses the importance of learning their parent's language, although some of the children express doubts as to its relevance in Britain.
