Event at the 5th Anniversary Gala of the 1984/5 Miners' Strike at Manchester Town Hall on 4th March 1989. Centre of stage coverage of the evening entertainment with performance by the Banner Theatre Group. Followed by a speech by Peter Heathfield from NUM (National Union of Miners), and a series of performances - Geoff Higginbottom, Eve Bland, Annie Owen and Heroes from Consett Music Group in the north east. |
