Description

Promoting the educational use of film in the classroom, with specific reference to handicraft teaching. After shots of a school workshop, a boy takes out a camera and projector from a large toolbox. A hand-drawn map of the world prefaces footage from Africa and Norway showing how logs are cut and transported. The film proceeds to show a variety of woodwork and metalwork tools and techniques, including the making of a reading lamp.
