Description |
Scenes from the Vickers' Centenary Pageant, 12th-16th June 1976. A Highland pipe band lead the Vickers' parade through the streets of Barrow followed by performers in Victorian costumes. A helicopter takes off from Craven Park then scenes from the pageant watched by a crowd sat in the stands. The show includes marching bands, a horse drawn carriage, children's races and Highland dancing. |
