Description |
Scenes from the 1972 Preston Guild celebrations, including activities undertaken by the Kingsfold Methodist Church. Features the Guild declaration at the Town Hall, a Brownie and Guide Parade down Market Street, runners returning the Guild Scroll from America, an open-air service in Avenham Park, dancing in Market Square, outdoor displays and a torchlight procession. Preparations are made for the Kingsfold carnival floats which are then seen as part of the extensive parade and procession footage. |
