Description |
Film featuring views of the Lake District and Scottish Border area, including shots of coastal towns and harbours. Some footage is shot from on board a boat and includes footage of submarines. The Forth Road and Rail bridges are seen as is Edinburgh and a small fishing town. Following shots of an airport are shots of a St John's Ambulance Brigade rally - featuring decorated floats, and Blackpool illuminations. Continues with footage of a harbour and some Highland Cattle. There is also footage of a group of people relaxing in a garden - they drink tea and a man is seen with a toy sword and French Foreign Legion style hat - there follows a sequence in which the man, and a woman who crawls along with two sticks in her hair, act out a bullfight. Closes with two of the people leaving in a Morris Minor and a brief shot of an aeroplane. |
