Description |
The film begins with holiday scenes from Scotland, including views of boats on a lake and mountain scenery. We see the family visiting a church and there are also shots of a man playing bagpipes. We see the family on the beach and walking in the hills. In Wales we see the family visiting Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and they take a ride on a steam train and film the passing scenery. There are scenes from a street party for the Silver Jubilee. The streets are decorating with bunting and people wave flags. Children eat at long tables in the street and then play games, including wheelbarrow racing. There are snow scenes and we see children with sledges. We then see a scout visit to Canada, including a visit to Glacier National Park and a display of totem poles. |
