Description

George Wain is seen leaving the family home in Hyde on his way to London. There are views of wartime London, including a procession of soldiers. Mr Wain then travels to Sutton in Surrey to make films for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents - children are seen being taught road safety in a school yard. On his return, the family are seen in the garden, and there is a special tea for Judith's sixth birthday.
