Description |
Geoffrey Grime and his sister Jane are seen playing in Bluebell Wood, having a picnic with their parents and on the banks of the River Wyre at Cartford Bridge. The family go on a camping holiday with friends during Whit 1952 and there are scenes on the beach at Rossall and feeding a baby starling at home at Bispham. At Norbreck Primary, the children are seen with presents for Mother's Day, and José and John Grime take a break during a tennis match with friends. Further scenes on the River Wyre at Skippool and on the beach at Cleveleys are followed by brief views of a flooded River Tyne at Featherstone in Northumberland. |
