Description |
An assortment of scenes from the Wilson family. The film opens with shots of a Zeppelin flying overhead. We see the family and larger groups of people on holidays and trips out to a variety of places, including Gretna Green where we see a shot of 'The Famous Old Blacksmith Shop and Marriage Room'. We see people in the countryside, on the beach, at seaside resorts and at a very busy open air swimming pool where we see people diving into the pool from a diving board. We see a group of people playing croquet in the garden, while others chat on a bench. There is a tea party held in a garden, a wedding where a large crowd of guests throw confetti on the newlyweds and also ice-skating scenes. We see police directing traffic in a town centre. There are shots of a biplane watched by spectators at an air show. There are scenes from the Stretford Pageant. There is a procession of vintage cars followed by horses and carts. There are floats, a fire engine, mounted police, people in fancy dress, scouts and civic dignitaries included in the procession. |
