Description

Herding the cows from the field, across the farm yard and into the milking shed. In the shed Mrs Moston prepares the milking machines and attaches them to the cows’ udders The milk is captured in small pails which are then emptied into larger milk churns which are then transported across the yard to be sterilised. Mr Moston unhooks the cows from the machinery and herds them back into the fields. Mrs Moston collects the cream from the churns before they are taken away on a lorry. The film ends with Mrs Moston vigorously cleaning the milking apparatus in hot water.
