Description

Documentary looking at the lives of young people in a deprived area of central Liverpool. They, and their parents and youth workers, talk about poor housing conditions, low job opportunities, their experiences of racism and prejudice, and the lack of social activities in the area. A group of girls talks about shop-lifting as a way of making money, and some of the teenagers are seen at Formby Hall, a centre for inner-city kids in the countryside.
