Description |
Compilation of scenes in Australia shot by the Gribbon family, recent immigrants from Liverpool. There are carnivals and processions in the town of Morwell, Victoria, including one on June 2nd 1953 marking the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, a military demonstration and flypast, and various beach scenes. There follows footage of Melbourne's buildings, decorated for the 1956 Olympics, including an exterior shot of the stadium. The family pose for the camera in their garden before they visit Sydney harbour, bridge and zoo. |
