Description |
The opening of an extension to the Healey Royd works of Lambert Howarth & Sons Ltd, Burnley, on 15th September 1954. After footage of speeches being delivered from a stage, there are shots of a ribbon being cut at the entrance to the works and a plaque unveiled by Mr I M Sieff. Dignitaries are shown round the floor of the factory and there are shots of women at their sewing machines making slippers. |
