Description

A promotional film for Foden's Truckmakers. The film opens with Foden's Brass Band playing, the shots of the band playing alternate with clips of the Foden's workers doing various tasks. We are given a brief history of the company and then we see scenes showcasing the Foden's factory in Sandbach, Cheshire. We see the different stages in the production of their trucks, with a commentary to inform us how these superior methods are unique to the company. We are then shown the wide range of trucks that Foden's make, and there are scenes from around the world of the trucks in use and we are told about the diverse range of uses to which they can be put. The film ends with more music from the brass band as we see more images of the Foden's trucks in use.
