Description

The Sykes family are seen visiting Peter Syke's brother at his home next to the ruined St Mary's Collegiate church in Haddington East Lothian. Then the beginning of an ordinary day in the life of the Sykes family is seen, with the family undertaking their daily routine at home in Lytham St Anne's. Includes getting out of bed, having breakfast, shaving and getting dressed. After Peter Sykes has left for work, Geoff and his baby sister Judith play by the fire, whilst their mother Florence vacuums, dusts and polishes, does laundry in a front-loading automatic washing machine, and begins preparing dinner.
