Description

An introduction to Tower Grange in Broughton, Salford: a rehabilitation home run by the Sisters of the Cross and Passion for young girls with domestic, scholarly or emotional problems. General footage of Salford is followed by a look at a typical week at Tower Grange. The girls are seen getting up in the morning, making their beds, doing chores, and taking part in various lessons. Footage of prayer groups, individual counselling sessions, meal times, needlework, as well as visits to the countryside, the local swimming pool and library, and work experience at a hairdressers. At the end of the week the girls go home to visit their parents.
