Description

A project partnership between WFA and the Northern Consortium of Textile Museums, a group of textile technology museums in the North of England, this film was one of a series designed to preserve textile machinery skills for the future by demonstrating and explaining the use of these old textile machines. To be used in conjunction with specialist training manuals, this film demonstrates the operation of the Cotton Spinning Mule at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.
