Description |
A brief history of Vickers' shipyard in Barrow is followed by men at work on different components of the Invincible, the sixth ship to bear this name, as well as shots in the design offices. On a very wet day, large crowds of local people come to see Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. The ship is launched, there is a brief air display and the Queen tours the ship yard meeting staff and watches an artillery display. |
