Description |
Members of the Inskip League of Friendship accompany a group of mostly elderly people with physical disabilities on a day trip to Southport. After the coach journey from Heywood, the visitors have lunch at Woosey’s Star Café, then set out in wheelchairs provided by St John’s Ambulance Brigade for a tour of Southport seafront and attractions, including the Lakeside miniature railway, and Pleasureland, with its Cyclone Coaster, Dive Bomber, and ghost train. After a return to the café, the party sets out for home. |
