Description |
The Rose Queen parade begins followed by fancy dress, Highland Pipers marching band, floats and finally the Rose Queen herself in a horse drawn carriage. The coronation ceremony of the Rose Queen at the festival show ground is followed by children's and adults' fancy-dress competitions and prize giving. Children eating and drinking in a marquee followed by flower arrangements and children's arts and crafts. The film ends with children dancing around the Maypole. |
