Description |
Large crowds of spectators line the streets for the 1972 Preston Guild parade which begins with people dancing in historical costumes. A stage in front of the town hall has various civic dignitaries giving speeches. A torch lit procession with Illuminations above the roads. Bunting and paper decorations on various streets and scenes from the preparations for a street party. The film ends with views of the Guild Hall under construction |
