Follows the River Mersey - source at the Cat and Fiddle Inn (called the Goyt here); Fernilee Reservoir; Stockport; Manchester Ship Canal; Warrington; Runcorn Transporter Bridge - loading and crossing; Speke airport; the estuary - Birkenhead and Liverpool - docks and shipping; Mersey Tunnel, overhead railway, and Mersey ferries.
