Description |
Views of the original electric trains on the Manchester to Altrincham line at Stretford and Altrincham shortly before their replacement in April 1971, and of the class 504 electric trains on the Manchester to Bury line during the conversion of the line to the Metrolink Light Rapid Transit network. Further views show trains on the last day of operation on the Altrincham line on 24/12/1991, and the new Metrolink trams on test in the city centre prior to opening. |
