Description |
Scenes from a trip to Italy. There are titles added to the film that tell us the locations of the places we see. There are scenes from Lake Como, where the family stay at Villa Giulia. The family visit Rome, and there are scenes from around Rome including The Vatican, St. Peter's Square, the Colosseum and St. John Lateran. There are also scenes from Lake Maggiore. We see the Pallanza Battle of Flowers where there is a procession of horse drawn floats, heavily decorated with flowers. The people on the floats throw flowers at the crowds of spectators. |
