Scenes from the presentation of the Ashton Trophy and the Open Golf Championship in 1926 showing golfers on the course as crowds watching match play. Includes footage from a Royal Air Force display with a variety of aeroplanes on parade, including biplanes flying in air and on parade, the Cierva Autogyro and an experimental tailless aircraft called the Pterodactyl flying as crowds watch from field. Continues with a cricket match at Blackpool cricket ground with Australia and interior shots of the Blackpool Tower Bear playing in enclosure. |
