Description |
This films shows a series of brief scenes from what appear to be group holidays to the Isle of Wight and Morecambe. The film opens with a sign for 'St Rhadagund's Guest House C.E. Holiday Homes Ltd. Lancashire and Cheshire Federation'. We then see scenes from the Isle of Wight, followed by scenes from Morecambe. We see the group out walking, and out and about on daytrips. They play in the sea and sit on the beach. They go on boat trips and we see them on trains and waiting at railway stations. They play croquet, tennis and ball games. There are shots of the scenery, and of trains in motion and arriving at stations. We see a small plane taking off and there are views of rough seas and waves crashing on to the seafront at Morecambe. |
