Description

Scenes showing everyday life in the Bernhard Baron Sunshine Home Nursery School for Blind Children in Kingswinford, Staffordshire. Begins with shots of children playing on a beach, with toy boats in a paddling pool and in countryside with animals.- followed by a caption 'But for some children many of the usual pleasures are denied'. Continues with footage of blind children getting dressed and playing in the garden of the nursery school. Further scenes include children engaged in various indoor activities; including singing, learning Braille and painting. Shows children having a meal, at bath time and a nurse putting a young girl to bed. Ends with shots of staff members outside the school.
