Description

Footage from a holiday in the Rhineland - shots of a viaduct near a German town on the banks of the Rhine, and members of the touring party posing with local policemen and Nazi officers. There are shots of ruins, a cart being pulled along a road by cattle, a large mountain and passing steam trains. There are shots of a small town decorated with swastikas, a tugboat pulling a ship across a lake. Several castles along the length of the Rhine are featured, and there are animated scenes and street scenes in another town.
