Description

Scenes from the construction of Fiddlers Ferry Power Station. We see construction work taking place at the site. There are scenes from the journeys of extremely large parts of the plant which are being transported to the construction site through Shropshire and Cheshire. They are transported by road, often on narrow roads through town centres, and we see how they are able to manoeuvre the vehicles to get through. They are accompanied by a police escort. There are also shots of various HGVs in other locations such as Northallerton. The film ends with shots of ships on the canal being loaded with vehicles.
