Description

Brief shots of decorated buildings in Preston - followed by views of the Preston Guild procession passing George Eastham's DIY shop on Friargate. A number of different bands and floats are seen - most of which depict religious scenes. The film ends with several views of lorries carrying the Canberra aeroplane - Britain's first jet bomber and holder of the Atlantic record crossing (both ways).
