Description

Student production. A profile of Warrington inventor Stephen Gerrard-Hayden who has designed and patented a new type of golf tee. After a description of the new invention, Stephen describes his troubled background that includes a failed business venture, health problems and homelessness. Reverend Bill Burgess from the local Wycliffe church talks about Stephen's perceived rehabilitation, which is contradicted by scenes from a night out in Warrington. Stephen revisits a Salvation Army hostel where he once stayed to explain how religion helped him through a difficult time. Ends with Stephen reflecting on the fine line between genius and lunacy.
