Description |
Scenes from Hallfold Congregational Church Whitsuntide Walk are followed by Facit St. John's and Millgate Baptist combined Whit Walk with clergy, banners, Rose Queens, brass bands and Girl Guides taking part in the walk. We then see scenes from a Gala Day at Whitworth County Secondary School with dance troupes, various stalls, fairground rides and judo demonstrations. We also see dog obedience demonstrations where dogs perform a variety of tasks including jumping though hoops which have been set on fire. Mrs J Tierney, the second Lady Chairman of the Council, leads a procession of civic dignitaries to the Civic Hall. |
